WHY ARE DEBRIEFS IMPORTANT IF THE ASSESSMENTS ARE VALID AND RELIABLE?
I wondered this, too, until I personally experienced a well-trained practitioner delivering meaningful results and illuminating the application. Someone with an advanced degree may understand the psychometrics of an assessment tool, but only an experienced practitioner can explain the theory and ensure the accuracy of results. For a variety of reasons, assessment results are sometimes slightly off, rendering them meaningless. Debriefs ensure a meaningful experience.
Why Is bringing PERSONALITY type THEORY into the home a good idea?
When I learned type theory, I couldn’t help but bring it home and teach it to my husband and daughters. It has helped us in invaluable ways to understand and accept each other and the other people in our lives. I am not exaggerating when I say type comes up in conversation daily.
I’ve had many clients want to introduce type to their families but felt they were not proficient enough to share it and/or figure out their spouses or child(ren)’s type.
